I think most people understand what's acceptable or not on a public board. So rather than go into a lot of detail, my proposal is to keep it to just 3 important principles that members of the site are required to adhere to...

PROPboards.com Community Principles

1. Respect other members

No flames, trolling or personal attacks. Avoid anything that you know others might find offensive.

2. Say something worthwhile

Stay on topic, be concise, ISFW (is suitable for work), try to add value, and keep personal information private.

3. Don't spam

Self-promotion is a definite no-no, if you want to promote yourself, your business, or your services, then go elsewhere.

I think

"No flames, trolling or personal attacks. Avoid anything that you know others might find offensive."

should be changed into

"No serious flames, trolling or personal attacks. Avoid anything that you know a 'reasonable person', in the sense of the site's intended audience, might find offensive."

Agreed, safe to assume there are no children here but there might be some females

Agree with arabian - prop traders aren't exactly delicate flowers.

Also I know you say keep things on topic, but maybe worth being explicit about keeping things prop related? Just so the spreadbetting crowd has no excuse.

4. Professional and Institutional Traders Only

This site is for use by Prop/Arcade/HF and IB Traders only. Retail traders are advised to use one of the many other trading forums available such as T2W.
