I'm pleased to announce we've added a fully integrated real-time chat room facility into PROPboards, that we've called PROPchat.

At any time you can see how many people are in the chat room from the new chat button in the header of PROPboards here (notice currently there are no users in chat):

So far we've got two rooms available in PROPchat, the Lounge . Once you click the link above you'll see the following where you can choose which room to enter:

Once inside, the format should be familiar to anyone who's used a chat room before. List of members are on the right hand side, options along the top, the main content area records the chat, and at the bottom you can type your messages:

One of the unique features of this system, is the ability to share images, files and videos with other members, if you press the files button above, you'll get this window:

So far, we've got two rooms, the PROPchat Lounge, a general chat room which all members are welcome to use; and the STIRS and Carbon Room run by arabianights which he'll shortly be moving over to from its current home on Chatzy. If you're interested in opening a room on PROPchat; then simply drop me a pm and we'll set you up, no cost involved, and we can assign you as a moderator (or anyone you choose) to help maintain the room.
