    Re: Introduce Yourself

    Hi All,

I'm Dave, and was invited here by ACD - thank you, John!

Just a small bit about me. I got introduced to markets as a rookie stockbroker in 1986, and went through the 1987 Crash - that ended that job! Then traded futures on the screen in 1987-1988 trying to use GET by Tom Joseph, then traded ag futures on the floor in 1988 as well. Took a break, and in 1994 worked for Tony Saliba's options firm in Chicago while trying to find an angel (had an aquaintance who was an S&P local, so got to hang out on the floor on his badge as a "clerk"). Went back to the futures floor in 1995, and traded as a local until 1998 - did a lot of spreads, and some flat-pricing.

In 2006, I joined a tape reading group and traded U.S. equities prop, but the Hybrid pretty much killed that. Come back in 2008, after leaving the sub-LLC group, and now am teaching myself to trade U.S. equities using price/volume relationships. On the floor we used order flow, and price/volume is much like that for me.

Looking forward to enjoying the board - best wishes to all!

    Re: Introduce Yourself

A bit late to introduce myself since I've already posted a couple of times but anyway...

I trade outrights prop on a swing basis. Not usually in and out in one day unless I get stopped out. Can hold positions over a few days depending how they are doing.

I look at a lot of different futures contracts for opportunities but usually only hold one position at a time.

    Hi gang,

I'm Jack. Like skill leverage I'm a high-frequency Bund intra day trader. I've also dabbled in oil futures and cable before joining the prop firm I work at now. I have investment banking experience but love the autonomy and independence of decision making afforded to me, being an outright Bund trader.

    Good luck to you!
